sky hd review
After getting my Panasonic HD tv, the foremost thing on my head was how long do I have to wait to get sky high def put in. I’d already experienced hd films via my apple telly and was real struck, but I could not continue paying for rented pictures. What I truly needed is sky, I desired all the movies and I wanted football in high-definition. I had read many sky hd reviews that I had to just order it now.
How did I order sky hd
Well I got on-line and signed up, it took around ten minutes and was fairly effortless, most of my time was spent shuffling up the packs, adding removing – did I actually need sky arts. I opted for the sky high-def box, the hd bundle and the movie bundle. It was rather expensive I would now find myself paying barely under 60 pounds per month but would have everything I wanted in high def. It took a couple of weeks to get the whole thing set up, I live in apartments and already have a shared dish, so the sky set up was just some feller giving me the sky high def box, and installing it. I could have done this myself, but it was this blokes problem. It took him about five mins, afterwards which he gave me a fast summing up on the characteristics. I just wanted him to go away so I could play with my new toy.

How good is the hd picture
The high-definition picture quality is in a word stunning. The easiest way I can describe it? well, I wear glasses the images on a normal television is like seeing without my glasses, foggy, lack of detail etc. When you see a high definition picture is like wearing the spectacles so much more detail, clear you start to see things that you would never see on the old picture. I found myself considering what would the matrix look like in HD, before I knew it I was watching all my favorite films again in high definition.
Other benefits of sky hd
Well the other major benefit from my point of view is the sound quality. Sky pumps out dolby digital 5.1 surround sound. So, like me, if you have a 5.1 system, I have a sony, can’t remember the model but it cost a lot, then the sound is spectacular.
The remote record feature is also a gigantic feature. It basically allows you to visit the sky website, view the television schedule, and record. So if you are at work you can browse the schedule and record at your lesiure, when you get home everything will be sitting inside your sky high-definition box ready to view.
Free broadband – I was a little unsure about the free broadband. I was with bt, and they had the worst service. I was lucky if I got 1mb download speed, despite many phone calls they never solved it. When you call bt youre calls are sent to india, where despite their best efforts the staff are just reading from a script. I could never understand what they were saying and got really crossed. So thanks to bt, I decided to choose for the sky broadband and try and save a bit of cash, I was paying bt twenty pounds for the delight of their bad service.
I got the sky hd box working first, and eventually got the free broadband a couple of weeks later, as bt were slow in making things happen their end. I was dreading trying the net as I thought it would be slower than bt. To my surprise the connection was a full 2mb, I know this is not the fastest but for me I was jumping with joy.
